Officially Appointed and Sworn Expert for medical engineering and telemedicine For more than 25 years, Armin Gärtner has been working as a medical engineering manager at hospitals.

Some years ago, we was nominated as an officially appointed and sworn expert for medical engineering, and since 2006 officially appointed for telemedicine as well. Since April 2008, he has been working for the Sana Kliniken, a large hospital group, in the field of the Medicine Technical Service Centre MTSZ Stuttgart in North Rhine-Westphalia and at the same time works as a freelancer within the scope of an engineer’s office for medical engineering.

For many years, Mr. Gärtner has been writing specialist books and articles for and about medical engineering, for example his successful book series medical engineering and information technology with soon 5 volumes. Mr. Armin Gärtner gives seminars in different subjects dealing with medical engineering which among others you can book at certain dates via Baaske Medical or directly as well.

Dipl. Ing. Hartmut Junker

 Since 1970 already, Mr. Dipl. Ing. Hartmut Junker has been acting for medical engineering. His career ranges from starting with his engineering studies and the apprenticeship as the officially recognized expert for electrical engineering, EX-protection and engineering via the foundation of the first European "test centre for medical devices" in Europe up to the management of a test and certification centre for medical devices at an internationally operating test organisation.

Thanks to his long experience in medical engineering, Mr. Junker offers a comprehensive knowledge and experience around questions about the planning, development, manufacture, trade, marketing, operation and maintenance of medical devices. His core competences comprises subjects such as among others the European guidelines, the conversion into German law, standards, international admission procedures, quality management, risk management, technical documentation, conformity evaluation methods and operator obligations as well as training and auditing in public health services.

The continuous participation in a variety of further education events, expert and experience knowledge circles provides another pillar of his comprehensive range of open or also in-house trainings, seminars, lectures, examinations, expert opinions or consulting services. Last but not least, Mr. Junker has engraved the development in medical engineering by his longstanding, active membership in standard committees such as VDE, DIN, VDI, IEC, CEN and CENELEC.

Since 2006, Mr. Junker has been working self-employed as a referent, management consultant and audit manager.
