New: MI 1005 E Medical Built In Isolator

The MI 1005E technology is based on the established technology of his little brother the MI 1005 Medical Ethernet Isolator, which is currently in use and accepted worldwide. The difference between both devices is, that the new MI 1005E Medical Ethernet isolator can be mounted in any applicance, housing or case using standard components manufactured by "HARTING, Germany". The push-pull interface is carried out in IP65/67, standardized according to IEC 61076-3-106 (Version 4).

The new MI 1005E Medical Ethernet isolator is used to isolate any Ethernet connection up to 5000V, the shielding as well as the signal line.

According to medical standards the MI 1005E allows the electrically safe use of electrical medical devices in medical electrical systems according to IEC 60601-1 3rd Edition, connected by RJ45 Ethernet cables up to 1GB/s.

The worldwide use and conformity of the new MI 1005E Medical Ethernet Isolator is investigated by the UL (Underwriters Laboratories) quarterly. The device is approved according to the standard UL 60601-1 (E342310)

New: USB 1.1 Isolator MED

At just 2.0 x 1.7 x 0.8 inches, these little isolators pack a powerful punch against electrical noises, surges and spikes up to 4kV isolation. Protect expensive PCs and equipment from damaging electrical storms, power surges and other high EMI/RFI disturbances. This isolation barrier eliminates ground loops which are disruptive in measurement applications.

USB 1.1 Isolator MED designed to meet UL60601 specification, isolates up to 4kV - strong enough for hospital and medical use. These isolators are USB bus powered and provide up to 100mA of current to attached downstream devices. LED indicates power supplied via upstream USB port. Complies with the USB 1.1 standard and transfers data at 12 Mbps. Standard USB cables of up to 5 meters may be used on either side of the USB Isolator.

The isolators are USB bus powered and can provide up to 100mA of current to the attached downstream device. This is possible when the isolator is connected to a high power USB host port.

The new, non-reflective, high contrast screens with 50.000.000:1 dyn. contrast, work in the long-lasting and energy-saving LED technology. Thanks to the ECO technology, they achieve power consumption of less than 20 watts during operation. The modern displays are equipped with VESA 100 compatible breakpoints and can be as well to carts and trolleys, or on a wall mount.

On 4st of april 2011 president Andreas Baaske received the official DEKRA certificate for the passed audit according to EN ISO 9001:2008.

From the 8-10 February Baaske Medical exhibited its products at MD&M West in Los Angeles.

The annual exhibition provides a lot of opportunity for experts and developer of the medical sector.

Baaske Medical on Medica 2010: Thank you very much

Togehter with the team Baaske Medical presented their product portfolio and new innovations for medical technology connected to IT hardware on the Medica 2010 tradeshow in Duesseldorf, Germany. Especially the medical approved isolation products like the MI 1005 Medical Ethernet Isolation have been very interesting for all visitors and customers. A large number of visitors and potential customers from different countries all over the world have been interested in the Baaske Medical products. The focus was set on topics like "Medical power supply and distribution", "Isolation and galvanic isolation" and "Medical electrical IT Systems according to IEC 60601-1"

CEO Andreas Baaske is very optimistic: "We are looking forward to our pending ISO 9001 certification, whick will be finalized in February 2010. Furthermore we will also attend the big american medical device trade show "M&DM West" in Anaheim, Los Angeles from the 8th to the 10th of February 2011. Baaske Medical Inc is pleased to announce the opening of our new office in Northern California! Located in the Petaluma Marina Business Center, we are open Monday through Friday, 9am - 4pm. The Baaske Medical Inc Branch Office is dedicated especially to our northamerican customers. You can now place your orders directly in the United States, without any customs or exchange rate issues.

Petaluma is the gateway to Northern California's "Wine Country" and boasts a lovely and historic downtown with great shopping and dining. Near our office in the Marina is the Petaluma Sheraton, in case you decide to make an appointment for a visit in our new office.

New Innovation: Mobile Isolation Transformer

for Notebooks and Laptops

This new product, the transpotable mobile isolation transformer has been developed especially for the use in the healthcare and hospital use inside the patients environment. A typical application would be the use of a laptop or notebook, that is used by the patient during the habitation in the hospital. The bedside defined as the patient environment in the IEC 60601-1 standard, which requires the fulfillment of the electrical safety defined by this standard. By the use of the mobile isolation transformer the electrical safety according to IEC 60601-1 will be assured.

Next Exhibition: Compamed / Medica 2009 in Düsseldorf

After the successful exhbition last year we will also attend the Compamed 2009 in Duesseldorf as an exhibitor. The compamed exhibition is part of the Medica 2009, one of the biggest medical fairs in the world. A Word in personal matters: We moved!

Dear Customers!

On the 1st of August 2009 we have moved to a new location, Siemensstr. 5 in 32312 Lübbecke, Germany. Our new premises are in a modern office building with integrated training- and conference rooms. Our company name has also changed since the 1st of August 2009 from Baaske Datentechnik to Baaske Medical e.K. With this name change we take account to our focus on the medical market.
